Podiatrist Tested (“we,” “us”) is operated by Foot & Ankle Web Services LLC. This policy explains what we collect on podiatristtested.com, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Analytics. Aggregate, privacy-focused traffic data — pages viewed, referring site, country, device type. We do not sell it and we do not use it to identify you.
- Information you give us. If you use our contact form or subscribe to our email list, we receive what you type — typically a name and email address.
- Comments. Where comments are open, we store the comment and the details you submit with it, plus the IP address, for spam prevention.
Cookies
We use cookies for basic site function and analytics. Affiliate partners, including Amazon, may set their own cookies when you click an outbound link so that a resulting purchase is attributed to us. Those cookies are governed by that retailer’s privacy policy, not ours. You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time; the site will still work.
Affiliate links and the Amazon Associates Program
Podiatrist Tested is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and other affiliate programs. We earn commissions on qualifying purchases made through links on this site, at no additional cost to you. See our editorial policy for how that relationship is kept separate from our scores.
If you subscribe, we use your address to send our newsletter and nothing else. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make the site work — our host, analytics, email, and spam-filtering providers — and only as needed to deliver those services, or where required by law.
How long we keep it
Contact-form submissions and comments are kept while they remain useful for correspondence or moderation. Email subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe. Analytics data is aggregate and not tied to an individual.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Residents of the EU/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA) have specific rights to access, correction, deletion, and opt-out of sale — we do not sell data in any case. To make a request, use our contact page.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Medical information
This site publishes footwear information, not medical advice, and does not create a doctor–patient relationship. Do not send us protected health information. If you are a patient of Balance Foot & Ankle, use the practice’s own channels rather than this site.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
